    Thank you, currently I have leaves in ours. But I do not have a door on our little run so its hard to take care of. It was just bare ground when we put the run up.

    it sounds like you have an extremely busy life at home. It's all fun though most of the time. I don't have any young ones or family around close by. I enjoyed reading your post.

    I like the way you think! I was cleaning ours weekly 4x6 coop. I broke my collarbone the end of December in a car accident haven't been able to clean it since, but I do believe I'm going to end up going to that deep litter method. thanks

    Hello from Southern Missouri

    My husband and I started chickens last summer, they were about 5 months old I guess at least they were not laying yet,and have ordered 15 more babie chicks to arrive in May. We will need a bigger coop for them when they are ready to go in with the bigger ones, so hopefully will have one ready...
