I don't know how to answer all these questions. I am a retired lady that would like to have some backyard chickens and have some questions. I mentioned to my son that I have always wanted chickens and he bought me a small coop for my birthday. I have not gotten chickens yet and want to get 'all my ducks in a row' so I will have fewer problems.

Why do you want to join our community?
I have always wanted to have chickens. I mentioned this briefly to my son and I am now the proud owner of a small chicken coop. I will get some chicks in the spring and want to be prepared.
