    Hello all, I just wanted to let you know that Peggy died in my lap this morning. Her chest swelling had gone down but she stayed up all night gasping for breath. Thank you again for all the advise. I should have approached this community earlier. Perhaps I'd have managed to save her then.

    I guess I'll keep her under observation for tonight and check to see how swollen it is tomorrow. Does it ever disappear on its own?

    Her comb was pale yesterday and this morning, but seems to have regained color now. Skin is a bit pale but not frighteningly so.
