    Just woke up. The camera caught a baby raccoon getting in through a 2in gap in my gate and we caught it in our trap!! Just happy that we figured out what it was

    Yes I did try this last night and nothing got in. But two nights ago I also put meet in the run and something did get in and eat it. It might have been a mouse or rat but I’m not sure.

    Yes I am going to try to best cover any holes that seem big enough for any animal. It’s awful how these animals attack chickens like this and than waste them. Thanks for the reply!!

    Thanks for all of your helpful replies!! Last night we set up a game camera and placed a trap in the run. All the chickens were locked inside. Nothing got into the run but we did see a raccoon outside of the run walking around and yesterday my neighbors caught a raccoon right near my chicken...

    Hey, I have 14 hens who all lay brown eggs and one hen who lays white eggs. My hens have been taking the white eggs out of the nesting boxes. Does anyone know why they would do this?
