Jeremy,
Yes, all of my Sumatras are from Cackle. I bred Daddy with daughters this last Spring. I think their size is a little small. I think they need to be a little longer legged.
They are STUNNING...makes me want to start a fm jap project...
Hello everyone...just read through the thread...very interesting...
What do yall think of my young Fm Sumatra cockeral? What you say his color is? Dunn? I Dunno...
my Fm hens
I hatched out (20) Fm Sumatras and (23)...
The Standard also states "In recent years, Cornish blood was introduced in some strains". Does anyone have any info on this? Interesting....what strains?
Does anyone know the genotype of the black Jersey Giant?...The Kippenjungle "cross breeds of chickens" page only has "jersey Giant" choice...
I've had black Sumatras from Cackle for two years now. They have nice dark gypsy faces. My cock has turned out to be a man-fighter, especially during breeding season. I need to introduce some new blood in them so if anyone is interested in trading/selling eggs /chicks please let me know...
Thanks for the encouragement in my project...
What do you mean by a "stabilized" hybrid pullet? I'm gonna hatch/keep about (20) F2 chicks...let me know if you need one...I hope they turn out uniformed.
Thanks Daniel,
My thoughts exactly....as I read through this thread, I read about crosses and those certain ones making them didn't get attacked and called names...
Not trying to argue...just pointing it out...
If some people would read my post they would see that nowhere did i say i was...
The biggest blackest longcrowing longtailed chicken I can make...
