    Thanks for the responses, even if it's not the news I was hoping to hear. I'll be taking it by the vet tomorrow just to make sure before moving to rehoming. I live in the California bay area, so if the final verdict is rooster and you're anywhere nearby I'd be happy to give him over to you, though!
