Don't push your problem birds off on other people

Official BYC Poll: What type of bedding do you use for your chicken coop in the summer?

Wood chips year round. Most of them are pine because I have a ton of pine trees but I'll throw what ever in the chipper that is too small to make firewood out of.

Engine Exchange question? (for cars, etc)

Engine blocks are stamped with serial numbers. Look up where it stamped online and check the numbers. The factory engine will be stamped with a number that aligns with the VIN of the car (thats where the term matching numbers on old collector cars comes from). It's also not just the engine...

Question on leaf helper spring kits?

If your springs have lost their arch you need new springs. Adding helper springs will just make the trailer more bouncy and most likely cause the already weak springs to stress and break.

    A note on Lithium batteries...

If your batteries are charging over 100% you have a bad charger or charging circuit in the device not a bad battery. The charger should slow down at around 75 or 80% and stop charging at 100%. Attack

Yeah with the setup covered and chain link it was a coon or possum. You really need to cover the botom of that setup in hardware cloth to stop anything from reaching in.

Is keeping a bunny in a cage cruel?

Cages if big enough are fine for a rabbit. Being outside is also fine as long as the rabbit is protected. Frankly I would take anything else they told you with a gain of salt.

Can a duck drown in a bucket?

I would get rid of the bucket and get a small kiddie pool.

    Attack

Most of the time a removed head is a bird of prey of some sort. It's not uncommon for a coon to do it also. Owls often remove the head and go for the brain. I'm gonna lean torward that is your problem.

    Broody question.

I'm a flashlight nut, I have ones that are bright enough to catch things on fire. Back in the day granny used a mini mag.

    Is my hen broody?

Most broody birds won't like you touch them. Mine were all hand raised and I can pick them up any time I want much to the distain of my rooster. When they are boody you aint sticking your hand near them in the nest without getting pecked.
