    Is creeping thyme poisonous for chickens?

    I need to put some ground cover in my backyard and my chickens are able to roam through out freely. I was wanting to put down creeping thyme (thymus serpyllum) but wanted to make sure it wasn't toxic to my chickens. Also I live in zone 9. Any other suggestions are welcome :) Thanks!

    Just my luck! Unfortunately I can't keep roosters. I'll hold on to this guy until he crows then find him a good home.

    Hello all! I purchased this bird as a pullet on October 6, 2016. It was sold as an Ameraucana pullet. It has not crowed or anything but I'm having a sneaking suspicion that it is in fact a male. What do you guys think? Hen or roo?[/IMG][/IMG]
