    My chickens don't like my coop! What am I doing wrong?

    I agree with others that say your chickens need to be kept protected at night. It appears that you free range them all day which is fine, but I would make sure they are in their pen at dusk. even though Mr owl or Mr possum hasn't gotten them yet, eventually they or one of their predator friends...

    So I have 7 silkie chicks little over 3 months old that really look so much alike!! It may be too early but I'm trying to figure out what gender they are before I get too attached. If anyone wants to help identify please feel free!! Can't get really good head shots of them ..... Chick 1

    I was able to reach a guy who really knows chickens today. I will try his recommendation and hope it works, otherwise I have a friend who might take her

    That is exactly how I feel, helpless. I've tried everything I know but it didn't work and I don't know what else to do.

    Maybe she cries cause she's by herself again and she's lonely? I've always kept s friend with her but now they peck her too.

    Have no idea, maybe it's painful?? Sure hurts me to watch . She mostly just lays down nowadays....I added some aspirin to her water to see if it would help...

    Does anyone know if avian vets are familiar with this? I may take her there and if necessary have the vet put her down cause I can't do it.

    Mine loved to be outside in the grass but I to only takes a few minutes and she's upside down and crying
