    pictures of my girl's comb. Nothing on her wattle. I tried to pick some off and it was really stuck. It's on both sides of her comb. All my girls seem to get along and she's never been under attack. My other 4 don't have this. Any ideas?

    acooke I live close to you (Fairfield) and have similar temps. My chicks are coming up on 6 weeks old and I moved them into the coop yesterday. Only 2 chicks. Did you put a heat lamp on your coop or are they just huddling together for warmth? The wind kicked up tonight and they're not settling...

    Moving Chicks in with Older Hens

    I have a bantam hen (under 2 pounds) and 2 chicks (not bantams). The chicks are almost 5 weeks old and we're coming into warm days and not too chilly nights.
