Young Roo with prolapsed vent that keeps returning- needing further guidance.

I have a 2 month old chick, due to feather shape, attitude, and comb growth we suspect a rooster. On Friday we noticed blood on its rear and immediately removed it from the rest of the flock. Blood and white runny poop, some had began to crust and a red protrusion from the vent. I've tried to...

    Chick hatched with red bulge

Did your chick make it? I just had one hatch that looks similar and I don't know what to do.

How do I help this little chick?

I don't think anything has slipped. I'm still be and learning. I'm thinking it's the rotated tibia. Thank you for helping!

How do I help this little chick?

It hatched with a splayed leg, so it was hobbled for a few days during the first week. I should have taken it off sooner, it was the first time I've ever done it. It's leg has been getting worse and I just want to do what is best by the chick.

How do I help this little chick?

It's leg is not straight and it keeps rolling onto the side of its foot when walking and it isn't staying flat. I really want to help it, it hobbles around and eats and drinks. I tried to get a better picture of the leg because it is an odd angle, but pictures aren't quite covering it.

    Help please

One of our new jersey giants is not well from the looks of it. She's about a year old, I don't think she's been laying, and she's lost weight. We had to worm our flock (safe-guard) a couple weeks back and she's been slowly getting off ever since I feel like. Today she's just laid down, slightly...

    Opinions for sick chicken

No molting/feather loss. We wormed with safe-guard/fenbendazole. I'm not seeing any lice or mites currently. She hasn't been laying. I'll check her crop in the morning.

    Opinions on a sick chicken

I did not mean to make 2 posts. I started one before I signed up and didn't know that it was saved/posted. So then I posted again once I was registered. So sorry! I'm trying to figure out how to delete this thread.

    Opinions on a sick chicken

Darla is about a year old. A while back we discovered she had our first case of bumblefoot. I tried just about everything I could find and do believe it is healing. But Darla is still not herself. She's not active, has droopy feathers, and a pale comb/wattle. This is our 3rd year with chickens...

    Hi

We started our flock 3 years ago. Slowly added more and currently have 23 birds of various kinds. I grew up a city girl and my husband is a country guy, so it's been a big learning experience for me and forcing me out of my comfort zone in some ways. I love my flock and am very partial to our...

    Opinions for sick chicken

My sweet Darla has been under the weather for awhile now. It started a bit ago with bumblefoot. I thought we had that all taken care of, but she's still not okay. Pale comb and wattle. Droopy feathers. Not very active. Today she was just standing with her eyes closed. We had to treat them for...
