Okay so you have to read this. I was mowing the lawn and one of my americaunas who is only 2 and perfectly seemingly healthy and had just been eating treats with the rest of the group, RACES past me like a bat out of Hell..... Seriously, she literally ran faster than any chicken I have ever...
I initially thought of egg bound for the first one, but, it didn't seem to fit, she lasted like that for a LONG time, weeks, until we had to cull her. If she makes it, I will try to post picks or video tomorrow...she seems to be worse off as far as standing than the first, BUT, pushes herself...
I appreciate your reply. There was a case of gleet in another chicken 2 months ago or so but very different symptoms. I haven't introduced anyone new and they have all been checked for mites, lice, etc. no one has any symptoms of feather issues, food issues, etc, etc. They all look great...
please please please take the time to read....I really need to know if I am dealing with some type of disease or a huge coincidence. I am hoping this is a coincidence, but, finding it hard to believe....I have had chickens for years and never seen this and now it has happened to two chickens in...

thank you all very much as I will save this thread for the future as well. Wish me luck working tomorrow Everyone is saying that they do not egg hold...why is that? Just curious. Thanks again for taking the time.
crap! now what do I do? I just did Wazine 2 weeks ago and wanted to followup with an EASY way to do 38 chickens...I thought that the Eprinex was just a water dose. What do I do with the Eprinex then? pour some on each back? Egg hold? ugggg.....
Sorry to double post, but, the earlier post I said it was NOT pour on, but it is....see my response...any help is so appreciated:
....it is the ivomec Eprinex Pour-on for Beef and Dairy Cattle containing 5 mg eprinomectin/ml. I know that people have posted to pour it on to the chicken, BUT, I...
