Not my question, but I found this youtuber asking for help. Following his video to see what could be the reason for poor egg laying of his chickens. Any ideas maybe the introduction of the new chickens has started a pecking order dispute?
Recently I noticed a mouse coming out of my wall. I set up some traps and got 2. I can't believe how much they love to eat them. Turning mice into eggs 😎.
Being that this coop is made of all pallets, I built a pallet fence for my girls. I let them out 4 hours or so a day in the evening. Cuts down on the poop I have to pick up on my porch. This set up is working great for my little city chickens!
I get 2 eggs a day.
Yes they have tons of coverage, they roam around my backyard. There are bushes and trees are all over. They are about a year old.
I hope that hawk misses again if it is the case. They are like dogs to me. They even jump on my lap or chair when I got outside.
A while back one of my chickens lost a bunch of feathers on her head and had some scratches. She is doing better and regrowing the feathers. Yet I'm wondering if maybe a local hawk got her, but she got away somehow. Check out the pics below.

They are all very different, i personally saw a huge change in character when mine first started laying. They where very nervous around me, then one started to lay and became super social. The following week the other layed and became very social. Chickens are weird, enjoy there little quirks.
