I have 2 rhode island reds about 1 1/2 yrs old. One attacks me and the other is docile. The docile one still lays about 5-6 eggs a week while the aggressive one(LULU) is moulting and hardly lays now. Hopefully she will lay after she finishes moulting(4-7wks).

I have 2 RI hens that have been laying for almost 3 weeks, but they are barely larger than a ping pong ball. How long before they start getting larger?

I have 2 rhode island red hens. The first one started laying at 4.5 months of age. She has laid one every day for 4 days straight and they are barely larger than a ping pong ball. I am hoping they will get larger as she reaches 6 months.
