    i hang branches from ceiling, 5-6' long different diameters but the birds seemed to like to 4" best. we get some cold winters so they can keep there feet hidden that way. it also acts like a swing which i read is good for the birds plus they like it. i hang another on an angle they climb up...

    i bury fence around the outside of run. my birds really like to scratch the ground, an dig holes for dust baths inside the run. couple feet out seems to have worked for me, as any digging i have found is right up by the edges of the run (many predators where i am)

    if u get snow like me, a bigger coop or sheltered run is nice, my hens wont touch the snow or ice.
