    New to chickens in Oregon

    I am new to chickens, always wanted them and so when a neighbor had some baby chicks unexpectedly, we welcomed three home. Our neighbor thought they were Orpingtons, but we are not sure yet. We have two males and one female. We brooded them in the house, and they have been in their own coop...

    Bowed leg on chicken

    We have three chickens (about 4 months old), and one of them (a male) has developed a bowed leg that is causing him to limp. It looks like it is bowed out from the hip, so I suspect an injury. I'm also wondering if it is one of the scale diseases. His feet are splayed much more than the other...
