Great information - thank you! I'll keep an eye on her and try to calm my anticipation :) This will be our first gal to lay so we're pretty excited. I'm going to have to pick out a special recipe to celebrate once an egg does show up!

Can anyone confirm that my Muscovy is female? We bought her in January and were told that she's female, but we haven't seen any eggs from her yet. She's between 1-3 years old. Thanks!

Thanks everyone - we've created a grid above the pen with medium grade wire and tied a bunch of fluorescent tape to it so predators don't try to enter from the top by accident. I'm hoping this will protect our flock for now...
