    Yes it gets around 30 degrees. How you see my coops is how they are year round. During the summer I have fans for the coops. We have several coons and moles. I have a German shepherd that patrols. Never really had a problem.

    Yes they free range out side fenced in area. I have pull up door on ground pens. I'll take pictures of them when I get off work.
