    I did use boxes but thought they’d get so poopy really quickly so I ended up putting shavings on top.

    Yes, I was going to search for a drop cloth but ran out of time before I left. So I ended up using flattened boxes with pine shavings on top.

    It’s single garage - that’s a smart idea to have something underneath so I can fold it up after to take the bedding out. The run is attached to the garage so I can probably dump it out the window! Thank you!

    Update after vet visit! The chicken I took in was fine, and the other suspect continues to be fine - the vet actually thought it was not lash material, he said it wasn’t gross enough…most likely a bad egg. My guess is as the other chicken started laying again right after it was just her system...

    Nothing new produced, but the other suspect has come inside to sit in a crate again…seems normal, eating fine and looks like she’s checking out a laying spot. Of course I’m at the vet now with the original suspect, and think I brought the wrong one! Anyhow, attaching the pic of what I found Sunday.
