    When to candle/float test quail eggs? Also when is lockdown for coturnix eggs?

    I was given some button quail eggs, their mother quail had been sitting on the eggs. My problem is that I don't know if they are fertile or not it has been 8 days now how can you tell I have tried the float test but could not see them moving, I tried candling but with all the spot I could not...

    First Hatch - "HELP"

    I brought some fertile Cayuga eggs to see if I could hatch them in an incubator, three have hatched on time and a doing well but there are two that have still not hatched they are three days late how long should I wait?
