Should you hold and handle your rooster. My husbands seems to think he’s read that the more you handle rooster the more likely they are to be aggressive, whereas I’ve read that frequently handling roosters makes them more friendly. What’s the general consensus with this one?

Hello all! Does anyone have any guesses as to what sex our 4 little 5-weekers are. 1. Splash Australorp 2. Blue Australorp 3. Lavender Araucana - I very much suspect this one is a cockerel. 4. Lavender Araucana - I suspect this one is a pullet

It’s able to stand on it and it can hobble around on it. Edit to add - it sticks out the side as it hobbles around.

Side note - the first thing I did was divid the cage so it can be separated from the other chicks, as that seemed to be the first most important thing to do.
