I have 6, they all lay in the same box even though there are three boxes to choose from. I've tried putting eggs in the other boxes, but they like the one. I've seen two in there together laying and I've seen a third try to join them but didn't fit! Goofy things.
Mine are ISO brown. They do lay larger eggs. Lots of double yolks and even a triple here and there! They are consistent in number but not in size.
How long is the egg production expectation of the ISO, since you say it's shortened?
Jerry, I have a plastic one like this. You can set the base pan down, then the inner piece can set right inside of it. Then you fill it and put the top layer on. The seal should work as long as the base pan is deeper then where the hole is on the inner layer. Nothing needs to be welded together.
