I was fortunate to have backyard chickens and ducks from 2010-2013. The the news came from the Navy and we were moved to Virginia Beach, VA. Of all places that we could have been sent and had to go to a city that despises chickens!!!! Bur I am back in Nebraska now and I am searching for a house, have been for 8 months and the #1 criteria is that I am allowed to get my chickens back!!! This site was invaluable for me several years ago when I was first learning about my backyard birds. I am back now and I see the site is even better!

- I am a chicken lover and I like to know as much as I can about any important endeavor in my life. Backyard chickens never let me down when I had my first chicks and I know the site will be even more helpful now. Plus, there are several people in my life that just do not understand having backyard chickens so I yearn to chat with other chicken lovers!
