Wondering about our Aldredo. It is much bigger than its sister who hatched the same day. Is Alfredo a roo? They are 10 weeks old.
Here Alfredo is with sister
Would like some help with my two chicks. First one 5 weeks old been told it's a EE, gender ideas?
Second I have no idea of breed or gender. They're both supposed to be cream leg bars but the first isn't for sure.
Jae G thank you. The chicks are out of my care but their new families have my email so hopefully they'll let me know. I think part of the problem is that there was some cross-breeding going on with an EE. Maybe.
I bought cream legbar eggs but this little hen or roo doesn't look like its siblings. Any ideas of breed? Or for that matter gender? I realize it may be too soon to tell for either.
I have another that presents as a typical cream legbar female. They were from a guy on Craigslist who did raise other breeds. Maybe there is some hybridization going on?
I knew she was a lady, my others didn't post. She's definitely lighter but clear chipmunk stripes and eyeliner.
Same as this one. Both males then? No spots but fuzzier.
I have 6 cream legbar chicks and I need verification that I have my gendering correct.[/IMG][/IMG][/IMG][/IMG][/IMG]
From what I know I think the only males are the pure white/yellow one and the light one next to it. It doesn't have a white spot, but it also doesn't have the three chipmunk...
