    Winter heat lamp placement?

    Recently here in the UK we have seen a huge downfall of snow and plummeting temperatures. I will heat my coop for comfort in the colder times but other than that I would be happy for them to brave the elements.

    woke up this morning to a dead hen. I phoned the farm who says it sounded like gape worm but are surprised that it had died so quickly. Sad times...RIP Iris

    Hi Thanks for replying. Her poop is normal, her comb is red. she does have what appears to be a cough/sneeze. When she does the 'silent squawking' she has her eyes closed.
