    I use " Box Traps." Outside of the pen. But I've also been alerted at night. Coyotes are big threat too. But in the daylight!

    Possums are the culprits. Possums are the Culprits. I don't know why, but there seems to be a never ending supply of those things around here! I've exterminated more than 150 in the last Two Years.They will do just what you described.
