28 year old female who is experienced in reptile, small mammal, and fish handling. Currently owner of 2 beautiful cats. Avid gardener and hiker. Prior military. I love reading fantasy and hope to write a book of my own one day!
My dream is to own a plot of land with a few acres somewhere to make a homestead -- Maybe RI, perhaps NH or VT or even TN. It's all a process of learning in stages and my newest journey is raising chickens!
I believe America has lost touch with its roots and how to create their own food. Convenience has taken over and most people my age have never done more than try to handle a house plant. I say that we should embrace creating our own natural food! I have been vegetable gardening since I was a child and continue to do so as an adult.
I have a 1 year old son I want to thrive and enjoy nature with. A son who will understand where our food comes from and what it takes to get it.
