Thanks for all the great tips. We do lock them up at night in a large dog crate. They put themselves to bed and I just have to close and lock the door. I didn't realize how messy ducks are and they sure love their water. Bill digs worms for them, which they gobble up so we have been thinking of...
So much to learn, didn't realize their beaks changed colors along with their feathers.
The both still have furry feathers, though the Buff has more. The dark one also has black spots on his feet.
I will get some peas and corn tomorrow.
Do you have water out all the time for them to swim...
Here are a few more pictures of our ducks...
How can I tell their age?
I had thought we could just let them go on the pond when we moved, but after all the reading we have done looks like they will be getting a duck coop built for them with an enclosed yard. We will keep them in...

They were just waddling along, not sure where they were headed. I figure the rest of their family were caught by a fox or coyote. They weren't close to any homes or farms so I have no idea where they came from.
We...

The lighter duck...
I could sure use some expert advise about two baby ducks we "rescued" on the side of the freeway/interstate in Tennessee.
They were just waddling along, not sure where they were going. No bodies of water near where they were found. Not actually babies, more of a teenager size, I would think...
