Unfortunately, our small female silkie has passed away this evening. Her name was Fozzy. She will not have to live in any pain and suffering anymore. Again, a big thanks to everyone’s advice and tips to help her. It’s appreciated.

Alabama. The high has been 90° F. She does lay eggs but hasn’t in a couple days. My mom had only noticed how she was acting yesterday and thought she was dying. She’s doing much better this morning, she can walk on her own and she ate and drank. I will be sure to check her for lice. If she does...
Hi, I’d guess she’s around a year old. Give or take a few months. She’s ate little bits of bread and yogurt, and has been drinking water. Her poop was clear with some white in it, but the last time I saw her poop it looked normal. The high has been 90° F. I checked, and I saw no injuries. She...

We are going to get her gatorade. She is doing well. She is a bit more stable, and is resting. She will have her own little spot where no other chickens are until she is fully better. I haven’t tested yet, but what could we do if she is egg bound?
Thanks.
Not sure exactly how old she is, maybe a year. Give or take a few months. Yes others could have kept her from food and water. I don’t think she’s layed eggs for a couple days. It’s 86° F now, it was id say around 90° F or higher when we dipped her.
I checked on her a few minutes ago and with my...
She has very liquid diarrhea. Still drinking. She has regained the strength to walk a little but she still falls down. Doing a bit better.
If anyone has any information, or tips to try and help her it’d be greatly appreciated.
Hi, I have a small female silkie that has refused to eat or drink. I put her in water to cool her down and she drank some while she was in there, good sign I thought. She can’t walk, she’s too weak. And she had pooped herself. I put her back in the coop and she ate some yogurt and bread. She’s...
Re: Chicken is showing aggression towards me
Norman is 8 months old. I have not been injured, and no small children live here.
We have a total of 3 rooters unfortunately. We purchased what we thought were hens from tractor supply (their genders were labeled). We had 16 chickens and only 5...
Hi, my chicken named Norman has been doing this dance towards all family members. He puts one wing down and does a fast side walk towards us. I’m told it’s to show dominance. He recently started showing aggression towards me and goes out of his way to get to me to attack me. I feel he might get...
