    This is how the wound is looking today. I trimmed the feathers back and putting antibiotic ointment on it twice a day.

    My 1 week old duckling was injured during the night in the coop. A chicken pecked it and created an open area. I cleaned it up and put antibiotic ointment on it and have it in the house so flies won't get at the wound. Should I be doing anything else different?
