Well I was pleased to read this thread. We have 17 girls and 1 Rooster-Max. Max has worn the feathers off so many of the girls. Some of them he grabs by the head and they are getting bald too. There are 3 or 4 that he doesn't seem to bother. Our girls run from him when he tries to mount them. He...
Hi Hennible, I hope you get to move and get some chickens. You sound like you will be a wonderful chicken mom. It is life changing really. I had no idea how wonderful is it.
Wow that would be exciting to get that many eggs. Congrats! 3 yesterday for us and 5 today. We were jumping with joy. Chickens are so wonderful. Ours love people so much. They chatter and go on so. I can't imagine ever being without them now.
This week we started getting 3 eggs a day and today 3 this morning and a big surprise with 2 more in the afternoon. Yipee. So we hope to be selling these lovely eggs.

If you and your husband are ever up our way please drop in and meet our chickens :-)...(and me and hubby too). We started to get eggs on Saturday...
You are so fortunate to have a camera in there. I am afraid I wouldn't get another thing done all day long. :-)). I would love to be able to watch our girls and Max.
