    Great article. I have had turkeys for years and agree with most of the information. I free range mine except my two breeding pair, which are cooped at night. They are happy to go in the coop at night.

    I am so sorry she passed. I use Corid for my turkeys and it works well. It is hard to bring an animal back once the stomach lining is compromised though.

    They are most likely thinking of the most common type of coccidiosis, Eimeria, and not Toxoplamosis, a less common strain of coddiciosis that is carried by cats and can be transferred to chickens and other fowl and through improper cooking of chicken meat to humans.
