Hi. a coon got into my coop last night. Killed my drake and half ate one of my duck girls. She’s alive but in bad shape. She’s acting normal. Drinking and cleaning herself in the tub. So duck math....is a good drake/duck ration 4:1? I don’t care for male poultry much and wasn’t planning on getting anymore drakes (if I can help it :P) I currently have 1 drake with 4 ladies. They adore him. I figure he will just be busy with 6 new duck hens soon lol. -

No and no! I used to wash right before use but then just got lazy! LOL However, I do have ducks eggs and they tend to be a little dirtier than chicken.
