My $75 duck house, "pond", and 4 new inhabitants!

I paid $75 TOTAL for the lumber, shingles, sealed hot tub, pallets, and logs. It is ready to go, but some parts are temporary and still under construction.

    Getting prepared for some ducks!

Ok so this is what I ended up with! Spent $75 total, including the ducks. The ramp is temporary, but it is already proven to work.

    Getting prepared for some ducks!

I found this beauty on Craigslist today. Already sealed up, as the previous owner used it for an aquaponics system. Has a drain already built in, and our garden is on the other side of the fence in the picture. I am going to connect the drain to some PVC, and rig some type of drainage to water...

One hen has developed different color feathers...and not in a good way.

She had a minor leg injury (I believe it to be minor as it went away within a week) that has since healed. She is a bit smaller than the others her age. She does eat and drink, although I would say not as often.

I have 4 RIR around 6 months old. One of them has become lethargic recently. Also, she has developed a new side-effect recently: her feathers are turning white. Do you guys have any idea what this is?!?!

HELP!!! I'm new to this, and I need some advice on Coop, Care, and possible sickness

To be fair, I purchased the largest feeder/waterer that I could find when setting everything up, so that may help distort the visual relations there in those pictures. Just to reassure you, I have included pictures with measurements!

HELP!!! I'm new to this, and I need some advice on Coop, Care, and possible sickness

Thanks for all the input so far! I think I am at the limit for chickens right now, until I add on to their living space. I provided some really bad pictures before. Check these out, and let me know what you think. There are two coops, one I built and the other was purchased from ACE Hardware...

HELP!!! I'm new to this, and I need some advice on Coop, Care, and possible sickness

Good Evening! My name is David, and my wife and I decided to start raising a flock of our own 2 months ago. We started with 5 Rhode Island Reds that were 5 months old at the time. This would make them roughly 7 months now. They haven't started laying yet. They were having a hard time breathing...
