    I have been to the Upper Crust, and I can't believe we have a Funky Coop Tour here. I should have known! I will make sure to catch it next hear. I tend to be a worrier and I want to make certain my coop is racoon proof!

    I just stumbled on this site too - I am a city girl and am so surprised at how much there is to know about chickens! The country in Washington sounds lovely. It must be cool up there... I think I remember cool...but it has been a while! This Texas summer is brutal this year. Ellen

    We live in north central Austin. I am a little worried about what my neighbors will say - but we are thinking no rooster just a couple of hens. We live on the corner, so will put our coop on the street side of the back yard so far from the neighbors! We'll see how it goes.
