They look like Easter Eggers, the muffed checks that are on the first one is a common in the breed. they came in every color that a chicken can have, and have green legs.
I'm hoping someone can help me determine if I have a girl or boy. This chick is a little over 4 weeks old. The comb is very pale (no pink).
Thx!!!

That is what my black tailed buff cockeral looked like at 4 weeks old. He's 4 months old now and crowed today for the first time.
Several large scale hatcheries have them, the one i can quote is crakle hatchery. They are Straight run, have to buy minimum 10 (small order, plus a fee), or 15 regular order. They are start about $3.40 each plus shipping.
To bad we are so far apart, I would like to get a few more girls as one female is really not enough for each rooster. I just can not get anymore roosters as 1 have 6 roosters(2 bieldefelder, 1 rhodebar, 2 japanese bantams, and one easter egger), plus two straight run marrunda basque chicks.
I just picked up a pair of black tailed whites who are currently molting so no i will not post pictures at this time, was so impressed with the black tailed buff boy I got as a surprise chick in a bantam order I could not say no to the older pair, plus I have a solid black Japanese bantam chick...

I just picked up chicks today from Lancaster Fancy Fowl, the owners are very nice and are helpful. They purchased the company over the winter and are working hard to get the company running and doing what they can to fill orders. I had to wait a while to get the rare breeds I ordered as they...
