    I cannot speak about turkeys but I would not use tylan 50 injectible in chickens. Tylan 50 or 200 is used for pneumonia in most hoofed animals. If it works for you, I would use the powder..     Ive had birds clawed by hawks in the past. Keep the area dry. Stitch it where you can. Regular sewing needle and thread is all u need. Once it heels up leave the thread in, it will not hurt the bird.. I use ichthammol 20% drawing salve. smother it on the wounds after heating it up a bit.. good luck
