    My Ancona duckling was not acting right. Would sit down every few steps. I got Vitamin B 12 and put in their water last night. It really perked the duckling and it's mates. I feed Purina duck feed. I thought it was complete in nourishments.

    I agree they are courteous. My chicks will be 3 months old this week... what are left after the fox raid. But by no means are they standard in size. They sell 5,000,000 a years so they are strictly commercial birds but I am guessing they will lay very well. Mine are all bantams and very healthy...

    Very interesting. Double yolk chicks might have an extra wing only . Before they started being more careful with eggs sizes, I saw many results. But this is one I had not heard about or seen..

    All 10 weeks old. I thought the Samatra was a pullet but it is fighting with the other cocks. Oh in that picture they were about 8 weeks old. I need to take new pictures.

    I was wondering about the d'uccle as I think they do have the stiff hock feathers, but it has been to many years since I raised them. I don't mind it being a pullet, as it has grown and feathered fully the gold locks are deepening in color. A white locket/bib in front makes for interesting...
