    Egg pictures- just for fun!

Those are lovely. I'd love to add BCM to our girls if we ever get a bigger coop.

    Egg pictures- just for fun!

Only 2 have started laying: a buff orpington and a mystery girl (Easter Eggers, Black Australorp, or SLW). *they are sitting on inside of a recycled egg carton lid; hence the nutrition facts*

    Bullying Easter Egger

For context: There are 5 living in a producer's pride sentinel. One chicken (sweet Easter Egger) is a tiny little thing with pendulous crop that they don't bother. That leaves Big Easter Egger, Orpington, Australorp, Wyandotte. They have a smaller coop but almost half an acre to roam about in a...

    Easter Egger / TSC “Americana”

They have been fluffing up their neck feathers at each other since the 100% crowing rooster (HUGE White Rock) was removed. I figured they were just resetting the pecking order but I don’t know. There were 2 with bloody crowns/scalps right after (treated and healed up fast). It’s been a few...

    Easter Egger / TSC “Americana”

Is this a pullet? I’ve had for 5 months. I haven’t heard it crow. It’s super flighty now and was the calmest as a chick.

6 wk Buff Orp, Australorp, White Plymouth Rock & 6+wk EE, SLW

The White Rock? Its growth spurt was amazing. It caught up in size to the EE older chicks from TSC.

6 wk Buff Orp, Australorp, White Plymouth Rock & 6+wk EE, SLW

2 "Americana" (Easter Eggers- One brown, One white) and 1 SLW. All of these came from Tractor supply 6 weeks ago. I'll show what they looked like as chicks when I got them. I don't know how old they were. Each is pictured individually, though, I admit... not the best photos. White Plymouth...

Thanks everyone. I thought it was too but wanted to check with more experienced chicken owners. I appreciate the quick replies.

Buff Orpington- 3 weeks 5 days

Supposed to be a pullet from a hatchery. I think it is a cockerel. :hmm The other Buff Orp (not pictured) is bigger and - much fluffier chick and its comb is slightly smaller and pale. What do you think? I’m not allowed to have roos.
