    digitS' : Australorps seem to be willing to stay out later in the evening than the other breeds. Maybe their black eyes gather light better thats a funny observation my australorps will keep the orpingtons out and about until well into dusk, they seem to dictate when its night coop time

    from your description, the flock is at peace dont think of it as "killing", think of it as "eating" i think that if you add that mean hen back in to the flock, your problems will start once again good lunk
