They are green eggers. But I will say this I bought this batch from Southern States in
April of 2016. The breeder is out of Tenn. and I have no idea what breeds they crossed
to get their green eggers. And I had 12 hens in the area I gave.
The coop is a converted building about 100 sq. ft. lot is about 50 sq. ft. The feed is scratch feed oyster shells Laying mash 18% protein and they always have a flock block
with them. constant water. The feed is all Purina brand and was milled or made in Aug.
There are 11 Hens and NO Rooster...
No she was healthy. Coop and lot critter proof, no sign of digging or holes in coop or wire.
The day started normal in the coop. She was still some what alive till I picked her up.
They just pecked the top of her head off.

I have easter egger hens today they just up and killed one of their coop mate's. pecked the top
of her head off. Question is why? When I opened the coop door they were all guilty had her in the
corner they were all having at her. any idea's out there.

One of my hens just started standing around with her Head feathers ruffled up and head tucked. Had one other do the
same thing 2 wks. back was alright 4 days later. I have wormed them and it's happened when we have a cold snap. They

Do not worry about molt time. It happens can't stop it. Just look at it this way when it pass's you will start to get
larger eggs with every MOLT the eggs get bigger then at the end Chicken and Dumplings. If you have the heart
