    Good news, I'm terrible at candling. Two unexpected hatchlings. Still waiting on the one egg with the confirmed chick inside. Though in my defense the two surprise chicks came from olive-colored eggs.

    I'm at day 10 of incubating. And after candling only one egg appears to have a viable embryo. It's got veins and visible movement.     I've got 6 older girls and a roo. And then 6 young ladies. The coop is 4x6'. The divider may work. Got any photos of a setup like that?

    Thanks for the feedback. It hadn't occurred to me to just make a free-standing roost. I was concerned about adding something that would interfere with cleaning. But if its freestanding, I can easily remove it as needed.
