    18 weeks. This bird is much bigger than the other Ameracauna of the same age. And comb is way more developed.

    Honest review. I think it sounds like a great grow out coop, also good for someone just starting out...when chicken math hasn't kicked in yet.

    This is what we have done with our barn shed conversion...not done yet but vents are cut out and covered with screen but will also use hardware cloth.

    How do you go about finding a breeder that vaccinates their chicks. I do not want to go through a hatchery as I don't want 6 or 8 chicks. But I have an existing flock and don't want to go through Craig's List or swaps either. Idea's on this?

    Help!!! My mixed flock won't go in their coop unless I am sitting on the bench waiting for them. My husband and I have been so enchanted by them, that we go to the coop just before dark, enjoy a splash of tea and watch the show. Now my girls and boys won't go in the coop until we are there...
