Not that anyone will read this but here goes. I’m 51 years old and just started my flock last year. I bought my chicks from TSC and wound up with lots of different chickens even though I only bought 3 different breeds, most turned out to be roosters. So now I have 5 Easter Eggers, 1 Lavender Orpington, 1 Red Comet (I think), 1 Copper Maran and 2 Buff Cochin. This year I again bought from TSC and I have 6 Silver Laced Wyandotte’s (3 are Roos) 2 Blue Andalusian (1 is black) and 2 silver laced Cochin. I love my birds and enjoy watching them. I have 10 new breeds coming at the end of July from Cackle Hatchery and Hoover’s Hatchery for a total of 83 new chicks. I am also trying to hatch some chicks using a heating pad incubator which is proving to be a pain but hopefully, I have a few hatch in the next few days. I am looking forward to having a small chicken hobby farm by next year.
