Why do you want to join our community?
I am raising a different breed of chicken due to a brooding Dominique that was sitting on wooden and unfertilized eggs and would not give them up. I bought chicks ( the only ones available) and replaced her eggs with a chick one at a time. She was a great mom. Chicks are grown and laying eggs, but one of them is a real oddball. Maybe a rooster? He doesn't crow yet, but I don't know. Most roosters have spurs. This one does not.
