    It would be nice for nugget to be a tom. Afew of my girls still lay a little bit so he could fertilize them. My toms are 100% too old to fertilize the eggs. Romeo is 10 and Rusty has to be about 7 now

    I don't think I'll get to hatch any more turkeys anytime soon. My flock is getting so old. I didn't have a single fertilized egg last year. My daughter wanted a poult to raise though and she found one at the swap over the weekend. So now we have a little Narragansett baby named Nugget running...

    I was going through old Facebook stuff yesterday trying to find an old picture...I always say about how Sweet Pea is so old (she's 11 this year!) but I didn't realize that my Romeo turns 10 this year! I thought he was younger than that! No wonder he hobbles almost as much as she does anymore...
