Very sweet chicken. We have a Crevecouer cockerel that crows already (was also supposed to be a pullet). These two don't fight or sqaure off with each other.
I got Cuppa a few months ago. Was told Cuppa was a pullet and a Wyandotte mix. Not sure that either of these things are true. Have not heard any crowing nor seen any eggs. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
I have a mixed flock of Australorps, Crevecouers, Silkies, Easter eggers, RIR, and some of barnyard mixes (Wyandotte/unknown, Buff Orpington/unknown). I witnessed my silkie laying the egg on the left but have no idea who laid the one on the right. For the record, I have never seen the crevecoeur...
Some Rhode Island Reds, Barred Rocks, Leghorn - those were the only ones I knew right off. They were quite rich in the rooster category. I was actually there to rehome my little boys.
Hi everyone!
I'm Tracey. I got my first chickens about 16 months ago, they were/are older (not sure if officially hens then) Australorps. Sweetest little ladies ever. Anyway, as you all know four was not enough. About 10 weeks ago I added some chicks to the mix - 2 silkies, 2 buff orpingtons...
