    Poison Ivy around Coop

The salt helps dry out the plant and the dish soap helps hold the vinegar/salt mixture on the plant it is sprayed. Everything in our lives are made of chemicals but some are more hazardous than others. I have not had a problem when spot spraying with the grass growing back.

I have had success with that mixture and poison ivy. It works best if the sun beats down on the area sprayed.

    Poison Ivy around Coop

1 cup of salt, 1 gallon of vinegar 8 drops of liquid dish soap. Mix it into a sprayer and spray on the leaves when the forecast has no rain for a couple days. The salt dries out the plants and some plants it kills the roots even. This has worked great for me on many broad leafed plants.

    Post your FIRST EGG pics!

My two ISA Browns laid their first eggs 2 days ago. The next morning there were 2 that were very rubbery. Looking forward to tomorrow morning to have my kids see them. My two kids are 3 and 4. They are telling everyone what our eggs did!

Life got busy and I decided to wait. This year I wrote to the city and it is on the agenda to talk about...
