She is doing good this morning. Thanks for all your help. I gave her another baytril injection. She still sleeping more than the others but she’s holding her own!
I put her beside them for a while and then I put her back in. We had some normal pecking order squabbles But she quickly asserted her dominance to the ones that were trying to upset her role as lead hen. Actually, One of my Rhode Island Reds attempted twice. She quickly shut it down. And now...
I will move her pen beside the run see if she does better. The crop issue seems to have resolved. The last couple mornings it has been down. So the bottle of baytril was originally for a duck and says doses every 48 hours which is what I’ve been doing. I may have a couple doses left. She’s one...
The way she pufffs up and the vent pulsing seems to point to egg bound but I mean it has been days. I can’t feel an egg. I feel like she would be dead already.
Some
She goes back-and-forth with it. Sometimes she looks completely normal and then other time she’s fluffed up and doing the vent pulsing. No bloody poop today. It’s very watery. But that could simply just be because she’s drinking more than she’s eating. She’s one of my head hens so I am...

She’s perked up some since the original post. I gave another Baytril injection and Epsom soak. She didn’t have blood or worms in her poop this morning but she definitely had blood the day before. The round worms I found in poop in the run where the remainder of the flock is so I’m unsure of...
I have a hen with quite a few things going on. She’s perked up some. She’s separated. All my chickens are on day 2 of corid since I found bloody poop with the sick hen. Then yesterday I found round worms in one pile in the run with the rest of the chickens. Does anyone use safeguard 10% liquid...
Thank you. I just checked on her. More
Blood in her pen. She ate some. Should I continue with corid as a safe guard. What about a dewormer that can be used with corid?
I have an Isa Brown who is about 2 years old. A couple of days ago I noticed her lingering in the nesting box squatting at roost time. The next morning her crop felt squishy like a water balloon so I separated her. It went down some overnight. But the next morning she was still unwell. Squatting...
