Going off the sickles would mean that you could have a longer back then which could be a fault on type correct? If using the pic that JoshU posted the starting point for zero degree to get a 40 degree or 30 degrees then the back would have to be longer that what may be expected for the line to...

So who's ready for the storm to hit starting tomorrow? Western half of the state should see snow, but more snow to the laurel highlands and southern parts of the state (western half) and as you go north less snow and I believe once past the mountains should change over to rain. Going to be...

From what it sounds like you have a run attached to the coop and you are asking if you should let them have free run of the run and coop area. I say yes. That is what I do and even let them have free run outside the run area to the property. Some will go out while others will stay in...

I wrapped my pen in plastic to help block the wind and to keep rain and snow out during the winter months. I was in there today and with the snow falling and the wind blowing really bad I could tell a diffence to a degree. I still need to get some hay down on the ground but they have the...

Warm to hot water will always freeze faster than cold water. It has been proven too many times in the past by kids in school and then trying it at home as well. heated dog bowls work great for keeping water non-frozen.

I think at times some of the photos that have been shown on social media of birds having what would be considered low wing carriage, may result in heat issues. It seems that at times when these where being shown by others that it was during the summer months and the birds were not holding their...
